HR and Recruiting Platform Brought to Launch
Stabilising and launching an AI-powered recruiting platform for mid-sized companies - from candidate assessment to auto-generated career pages.
The Challenge
The founder was the only technical person on a six-person team - while also running sales, networking and development. Functionally the platform already covered the full recruiting funnel: AI-powered candidate assessment with gamification, avatar interviews, auto-generated career and job pages, client and employee portals.
Functionally broad, but not ready to launch. Rapidly grown code, open defects in core flows, and no capacity to address both at once. Sales already had customers lined up.
Our Approach
We joined as external engineering capacity - with a clear brief: make the platform launchable, not rebuild it.
Stabilise first, extend second. Priority went to defects in the flows a customer sees on day one: application intake, assessment run-through, notifications. New features only followed once those paths ran reliably.
A pilot instance as the real test. Rather than preparing the launch in the abstract, we set up and shipped a real client instance for a logistics pilot. What surfaced there fed back into the platform - considerably faster than any test phase would have revealed it.
A European stack, deliberately chosen. Hosting and model selection follow a clear line: European providers, no dependency on US hyperscalers. In mid-market sales that is not a detail, it is an argument.
The Results
The platform is launch-ready and the pilot instance runs in production under its own domain. The founder can focus on sales and product direction again, instead of alternating between bugfix and customer call.
A second venture grew out of the collaboration in parallel: a sales prospecting platform with AI-generated potential analyses, now being developed as a joint product.
